FOR GYM-GOERS WHO WANT A STRUCTURED APPROACH TO STRENGTH TRAINING

BARBELL-BASED STRENGTH TRAINING DONE RIGHT
MOST PEOPLE AREN'T FOLLOWING A STRUCTURED STRENGTH TRAINING PROGRAM
This 4-week Strength Calibration Program, provides a clear, structured, barbell-based training plan designed to establish reliable 3–5 rep maxes across your main lifts, without turning every session into a struggle.
By the end of the 4 weeks, you’ll have clear strength reference points and a better understanding of how hard to train, giving you proper direction for your future training sessions.
OR you can get it for free when you join Strong Society
for $7 per month (approx. £5.50!)
Right now, you're probably:
Throwing together random workouts - a series of random workouts does not make a program, it's just a workout library.
Using ChatGPT - If the internet is full of misinformation and ineffective training methods, guess where AI is pulling this info from!
Considering a personal trainer - BUT maybe you're not able to fit that into your budget right now, or there's no one suitable at your gym that specialises in barbell lifts.
Being inconsistent - progress isn't going to be made by doing the occasional workout, unfortunately.
Using whatever weight you feel like using - but selecting a weight without any rhyme or reason isn't going to be beneficial in the long run.
If this sounds like you...

Everything you need for 4 weeks of structured training
You’ll get a complete PDF bundle that includes:
a clear how-to-use guide
2, 3, and 4-day training options
standard and beginner-friendly templates for each option
Just open it on your device or print it and train.

Clear framework, applied across 4 weeks
You’re given clear guidance in the how-to guide to:
understand the program
approach loading using effort guidelines
select suitable exercises based on your experience and equipment
From there, each session builds on the last.

A calibration phase - not random workouts
This isn’t a generic 4-week plan.
It’s designed to establish reliable 3–5 rep strength reference points so your future training is based on real data, instead of guessing.
This is the same structure we use with our in-person clients and the first training phase inside our Strong Society membership.
Introducing

4-Week Strength Training Program
The Calibration Phase
A STRUCTURED STARTING POINT FOR STRENGTH-FOCUSED TRAINING
This 4-week program gives you a clear, structured approach to barbell-based strength training while allowing flexibility in exercise selection and training frequency.
You’ll use 3-5 rep work across your main lifts to establish reliable strength reference points, supported by higher-intensity accessory work to build strength and muscle.
The goal isn’t to test for the sake of it - it’s to calibrate your training so future phases are based on meaningful data rather than estimating what you can do.

Why this program exists
When we work with clients in person, we don’t start with random workouts or generic programs.
We start by establishing how someone actually responds to training - their technique under load, their effort accuracy, and their working strength levels.
Over time, that approach became our non-negotiable starting point.
This 4-week Strength Calibration Program is built from the same structure we use inside the gym. It allows people to train independently while still following a process that produces reliable strength reference points, because a lot of people don't actually know how much they can lift.
Rather than testing for the sake of testing, the goal is to establish reliable strength reference points through structured training - so whatever comes next is based on real data.
That’s why this program looks the way it does.
And why it works as both a standalone phase and the first step inside our ongoing approach to proper structured strength training.
If you’ve ever finished a program without really knowing what your numbers mean, this phase exists to establish clear strength reference points you can actually use.
These examples show how the Calibration Phase is used as the first step within our longer-term coaching and training process.

Results shown include initial strength reference points established during the 4-week Calibration Phase, followed by further progress through continued structured training. Individual outcomes will vary.
